Well the day is finally here. Everyone who knows me knows that I am not a morning person, however every day while on tour the alarm goes off at 5:45 and I am up from my place of rest and start the day. For me this really is a testament to God's grace and provision in my life. I don't want to ever really get up early but each morning my thoughts go immediately to the children and the opportunity and priviledge that God has laid before me. Camp today doesn't start until 4 because today is the last day of school here in Morgan City. Normally I would feel a little stressed out having less time than normal to do the camp program in but I thank the Lord for giving me a calming peace about the whole situation. He has already in many ways shown his guiding hand on this tour and I am doing all that is within me to rest in those hands. Please pray this week for the children of Morgan City.
The initial registration numbers are not large but the children we will see will probably be in a real need of the Savior's love in their life. I will post later tonight or tommorrow and give a report on how day one went. To those who are out there reading this please also pray for the entire team as they work with the children this week. Abraham Lincoln once said when asked if he thought the Lord was on the side of the Union, "I do not know if He is on our side but what is more important is that I want to be on His side" I pray that we all will daily work to be on the Lord's side.

Musically His
Phillip
