Good Morning Everybody

Highlights of Day 1 - Prayer, Prayer, Prayer and more PRAYER! Thank to everyone who came to pray us off. Maxxis tire company. Wahoo! No problems. We saw 3 giant things. A giant think qualifies as any object that is much larger than it's normal size. Yesterday we encountered. The giant sausage, the giant sombrero and the oscar meyer weinermobile. It was a banner day. Make sure you check back in to see what other giant things we come into contact with. I'll try to also post where we see them so you can track where we have been. Our person of the day from Thursday is - Our waitress at dinner. Her name was Tequila. We had a great time talking and sharing with her. I always try to engage the people who serve me and us and offer the love of Jesus with them. Even though I don't always get to share my faith in a direct way, I always feel it is an awesome priviledge just to spend time with someone and show them a difference in my life.

We are just south of Augusta Georgia this morning and will be heading off shortly towards Livingston. We don't know if we will go that far today or not but no matter how far we go we are going to continue casting our nets on this fishing expedition that God has placed us on for this summer. Hope to write you again real soon. Love to all. Please keep praying. We feel every prayer you offer.

Musically His,
Phillip

  • Hi,
    How was your first day??
Yesterday, Todd finished up the sermom series on telling your story and I thought of your guys out there sharing your story with children. Todd made the point that as Christians we can't go for the "win" and expect everyone that we share with will come to know Christ at that time and that sometimes we have the role of planter, and others will water and then others will sow the seed. He used 1Cor 2:5-11 to explain our role and that our role is to be obediant and share and let God take care of the rest. I thought that the theme for the summer should have been the theme for the sermom series "Come and go with me and I will make you fisheres of men". My dad used to say you would never catch fish unless your line was in the water so- Keep the bait fresh and the lines in the water and may God bless your efforts and keep you safe throughout your journey.

    Love to all,
    Raynelle (Patootie)
