Hey Everybody,

Well as much as I wanted to I have been unable to find the time to get on line and blog. A lot has happened since my last post. Persons of the day were Ashley at the Days Inn in Hammond who found us some really clean and comfortable rooms during a very busy graduation season. Saturday and Sunday honors went to Joe Smith who is our host pastor for this week for just all that he does to encourage us and take care of us. Today's person of the day is Jake Sproole. I embarrassed to say that I don't really know how to spell his name but today he impressed us all. Not only is jake a wonderful dance instructor working this week with our younger girls in the rainbow beaked macaw dance but today came to the rescue of a child in mid stomach convulsions. In laymans terms the child was throwing up. Jake remained cool and lifted the child out of his seat and rushed him to the bathroom saving us all from one big mess and also making a new friend out of one the campers. Go Jake.

We had a great start to camp today and can't wait for tommorrow. God has been so faithful to us in meeting not only our needs but in answering so many of the prayers of family and loved ones. Giant things seen since the last report have been few but there are two reports. The first one was a giant blue monkey it was an inflatable monkey but giant all the same. The second was also an inflatable but this time was a giant red pig.

Everyone sends their love and asks each of you to keep us in your prayers. Pray for team members joining us in the weeks to come also. See you next time

Phillip

Good Morning Everybody

Highlights of Day 1 - Prayer, Prayer, Prayer and more PRAYER! Thank to everyone who came to pray us off. Maxxis tire company. Wahoo! No problems. We saw 3 giant things. A giant think qualifies as any object that is much larger than it's normal size. Yesterday we encountered. The giant sausage, the giant sombrero and the oscar meyer weinermobile. It was a banner day. Make sure you check back in to see what other giant things we come into contact with. I'll try to also post where we see them so you can track where we have been. Our person of the day from Thursday is - Our waitress at dinner. Her name was Tequila. We had a great time talking and sharing with her. I always try to engage the people who serve me and us and offer the love of Jesus with them. Even though I don't always get to share my faith in a direct way, I always feel it is an awesome priviledge just to spend time with someone and show them a difference in my life.

We are just south of Augusta Georgia this morning and will be heading off shortly towards Livingston. We don't know if we will go that far today or not but no matter how far we go we are going to continue casting our nets on this fishing expedition that God has placed us on for this summer. Hope to write you again real soon. Love to all. Please keep praying. We feel every prayer you offer.

Musically His,
Phillip
