Well the day is finally here. Everyone who knows me knows that I am not a morning person, however every day while on tour the alarm goes off at 5:45 and I am up from my place of rest and start the day. For me this really is a testament to God's grace and provision in my life. I don't want to ever really get up early but each morning my thoughts go immediately to the children and the opportunity and priviledge that God has laid before me. Camp today doesn't start until 4 because today is the last day of school here in Morgan City. Normally I would feel a little stressed out having less time than normal to do the camp program in but I thank the Lord for giving me a calming peace about the whole situation. He has already in many ways shown his guiding hand on this tour and I am doing all that is within me to rest in those hands. Please pray this week for the children of Morgan City.
The initial registration numbers are not large but the children we will see will probably be in a real need of the Savior's love in their life. I will post later tonight or tommorrow and give a report on how day one went. To those who are out there reading this please also pray for the entire team as they work with the children this week. Abraham Lincoln once said when asked if he thought the Lord was on the side of the Union, "I do not know if He is on our side but what is more important is that I want to be on His side" I pray that we all will daily work to be on the Lord's side.

You know that even though you sometimes have done everything you know to do there is still that feeling that leaves you unsure about yourself. Well I have to admit and confess that when I left Virginia two days ago that I really was not totally sure or convinced that the trailer would work and function properly. Well tonight I am sitting in CC's Coffe House in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and have traveled now for two days without one single incident. I did a lot of praying along the way but it was a great victory to finally pull in this afternoon. I even slowed down on Interstate 12 at the scene of last summer's first blowout and said a little prayer. It went something like this, "Thank you Lord for giving me 3 flat tires last summer" Now some of you maybe thinking that I need another cup of coffee because I have obviously lost my senses. In reality, I feel really great because I can now look back on the whole sequence of events and see just how awesome God orchestrated those events that even though on that hot summer day last year I couldn't understand, I now can see the magnificent symphony that he created through all of the people and places those events brought us. Robert Bullock you are an angel and you are a major topic of my prayers of thanksgiving tonight. Thanks to Lawrence and Jim back in Virginia for all of your help too. I am going to cut it short tonight so I can get some sleep before we hed to Morgan City tommorrow. I pray that God will keep all of our eyes open to the way he will masterfully ochestrate our summer. Although I can't see tonight exactly how it will turn out, I look forward to enjoying being used as an instrument in His masterful composition.

What a day it has been. I have gotten to pack the last bag, bin, and prop. I got to put the finishing touches on our daily devotion times for camp. I got to have lunch with my Senior Pastor and talk about how God is moving in our lives. And if that weren't enough, I got to fulfill one of my musical dreams tonight. A few months ago I attended by accident almost an open audition for the Potomac Nationals Baseball Team. For those of you who may not know, they are the single A farm club team for the Washington Nationals. Now don't get ahead of yourself, those of you who have seen my lack of athletic skills should know that I wasn't playing professional baseball tonight but instead I had the priviledge of singing the National Anthem. I have always wanted to sing the National Anthem at a professional sporting event. It was an honor and a totally awesome experience. As I finished singing, I thought just how awesome it is to be an American and know what freedom is. Later in the truck on the way home as I still pondered this thought, I also thought that even better than being an American is the priveledge I have of being a child of God. I got to sing tonight because I went to an audition and was selected. There was nothing I could do to ever deserve the priviledge of knowing Christ as my Savior. Today has truly been an awesome day. Tommorrow...I look forward to whatever the Lord has planned for me and our team. Lord, I pray that I never lose track of just how blessed I truly am.

Wow! everything fits in the trailer. Of course with my wonderful partner everything is always going to fit. She always says her Indian name is "Many things in small places" The list of things to do is getting thinner and thinner. We finished the choir and dance choreography this morning and I am putting the finishing touches on the worship times for the camp day. Tommorrow we will be taking the trailer on a little test run to a local truck stop to check and see how it is running on the road under full load. I want to thank all of you who are praying and working so diligently in our host locations to make 2006 Art-Is-In camps all they can be. Staff keep praying and get your stuff packed, we start next week. See all of you on Friday evening for dinner. I'll call and tell you where.

Welcome to Frack Facts. For the next 13 weeks. I am going to use this medium to hopefully communicate with my family and friends all of the things that are happening in my life and ministry on the road. Today I am in Stafford Virginia and we are going to load the trailer after we get home from church. The first time is always so much fun. I am ready for the task. It is really exciting to think about all the days ahead of me and my team. Please join me in praying that all of the final details of hitting the road will be a smooth process and that when we actually embark toward our first destination that the truck, trailer and van will work properly and without incident. Those of you who prayed for us last year know about all the issues we faced and though I feel we have done everything we can to correct the issue, it still offers me a huge prayer burden. It is going to be a busy week. Pray for strength and our continued determination and begin praying for all the children we will meet next week and in the weeks to come. Check back often for more updates. There will be a weekly post and hopefully some daily ones too.
